Born into a family of artists, Julia grew up with a paintbrush in hand. After ten years building her career as an award-winning interior designer, Julia became a full-time oil painter in 2023. Her design background continues to shape her approach to space, color, and composition, giving her paintings their distinctive style.

While she is best known for her hydrangea paintings, Julia’s work also spans quiet landscapes, seasonal fruit studies, and tablescapes. Unified by her signature palette, rich texture, and expressive brushwork, these subjects form a cohesive visual language rooted in nature and a sense of place.

Julia grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and earned her Fine Arts degree from Elon University. She now works from her home studio in Charlotte, North Carolina, and her paintings are collected nationwide.
